The extreme highs and lows of a Finnish child growing up in 1980s Sweden are explored with both spunk and compassion in Nanna Huolman’s Kid Svensk (That Special Summer). Двенадцатилетняя Кид и ее мать, финская эмигрантка, Эстер живут в Гётеборге. Эстер, мать — одиночка, которая и так с трудом сводит концы с концами, увольняют с работы. Very realistic movie about (among other things) young love. Kid and Jamppe's relationship develops just as you would expect from two kids their age.
