In Gamera the Brave (Gamera: Chiisaki Yusha-tachi, 2006), a young boy named Toru finds a mysterious egg on the beach out of which hatches a tiny flying turtle, which is in fact Gamera. His father doesn’t allow him to have pets so he chooses to hide it. Eventually a giant lizard called Zedus arrives, triggering Gamera’s hidden powers and the two monsters face off against one another.
Маленький мальчик, оставшийся без матери, заботится о новорожденной черепашке, чтобы отвлечься от своего горя. Но черепашка растет слишком быстро, и возникают подозрения, что это Гамера. Когда гигантский монстр Зедус нападает на город, теперь уже взрослая Гамера смело вступает с ним в сражение ради мальчика.
