The story of a young girl whose accident takes her out of the spotlight she enjoyed as a star gymnast and brings her among the outsiders sentenced to life in a wheelchair.Fanny is ten, and she is the star of her sports gymnastics team. She is the best; she realizes this and behaves accordingly among her classmates. This hits her back in the form of envy and estrangement and Fanny gets to be ever lonelier. She lives only with her father; her mother has remarried and is expecting a baby with her new partner. And so Fanny makes up for her loneliness with her sports success. All the harder is it for her to come to terms with the results of her tragic accident that has definitely put an end to her sports career and leaves her tied to a wheelchair.
