Said's schoolmistress can't sing his praises loud enough. But this year, Said starts high school and everything is about to change... There are 1200 pupils and Said feels uncomfortable among the older children. In the playground, he is faced with a hostile environment he isn't used to: he has to cope with threats, bullying, plots, and various trafficking and dealing. Even though Said's family push their children to work at school, they eventually become affected by such a climate. The oldest son is easily influenced by his schoolmates and he becomes uncontrollable and wayward. Said, however, tries to make the most of things: a school outing to the city or a painting at the museum... But will he manage to avoid the traps set for him by his brother and his mates or will he join them in their scams?
