A very modern take on the classic fairy tale, here set in Scottish slumbers. Hoodie is sent off to her 'nana' by her mom with a telly, but is stopped on the way by the dodgy looking Ralph who persuades her not to go straight to her intended destination (so he gets there first). And then, rather than delivering the telly to her nana herself, Hoodie makes a deal with her friend to go in her place, a bit of a twist to the original plot. So in this version of the story it's the friend that gets assaulted by the bad guy instead of Hoodie, but she witnesses it and her life is forever changed.
