Poucette, helped by Anaïk, visit Jean in his bedroom. The child is delirious and Poucette writes down everything he says. A name keeps coming back: Caumont. Poucette finds that name in his suitcase tagged to a baby's diaper that was once his. He asks Mme Martin-Chupart in presence of her husband if she knows a man named Caumont. Visibly upset, she says Caumont wanted to marry her but since he was violent, she had refused. When her child was born, she had found a letter asking her if it was really hers? So Poucette tells her he may be her child and sets an appointment for everyone at the island of the penguins to reveal what he has discovered. Caumont, 12 years ago, had bought a son from a fisherman. That child was Jean. Chabuche's dog brings in his mouth a letter from Caumont revealing that Poucette is actually the Chuparts' son. - IMDb
