Sarah is the wife and mother of one child, Ross. Three months prior, her husband began to detach from the family in an immediate sense. He can't seem to look at his child, or associate with his family. Before this, he was an almost-perfect father. Jared, her husband, is a surgeon. Three months ago, he lost a child in surgery who reminded him of his son. He is faced with inability to forgive himself for this loss, and can't even seem to look at his son anymore without being reminded of the pain. As Jared begins to detach from his family, Ross, the son, develops an imaginary friend by the name of Aiden. Ross is around 9 years old, far too old to be experiencing an imaginary friend. This is the story of a parent-teacher conference that leads to the unfolding of the surreal truth. - IMDb
