The Next Gift

10 year old Katherine is an ordinary girl from a small American town. She is well adjusted, smart and has many friends. Her father, Joe Hansen is a single father and struggling real estate agent. Joe informs Katherine at dinner that they will soon lose the family home to foreclosure. Later that night, Katherine awakens to her life's purpose, communicated to her by her deceased mother. She ventures into the world the next day bringing hope to those with handicaps and standing up for the oppressed. Katherine and Joe discover that helping others comes with many challenges.
