The Next Chapter

From behind the shadows of their bedroom door, two Taiwanese brothers, Wang Hao (7) and Wang Po (10) witness a violent confrontation between their feuding parents one night. The verbal exchange escalates into physical violence, as their father, Wang Wen-Te, sends their mother, Wang Kuei-Chi, crashing down onto their living room floor. As Wang Wen-Te storms out the house, Wang Kuei-Chi takes the opportunity for her and her boys to escape their abusive patriarch.
