Tirlittan

The children's film, written and directed by Maunu Kurkvaara, is based on Oiva Paloheimo's storybook of the same name. Young Tirlitta (Tarja Airaksinen) gets rid of her family after being struck by lightning in her home. While looking for a new home, he meets a friendly police officer (Heikki Savolainen), a lady with bone light (Sylva Rossi) and a circus director (Sakari Jurkka). Tirlitta ends up in the circus, where her parents (Pehr-Olof Sirén and Tuija Halonen) find her.
