A young teacher of Russian language and literature, Anna Fedorova, comes to a party with old friends on a yacht. In the morning, Anna jumps into the sea, while the others are still sleeping. In a wet dress, barefoot, with bruises and abrasions on her body, the girl gets to the police station and writes a statement about rape. She accuses her friends, influential people of the city, of the crime. The case causes a huge resonance, and the investigation sheds light on the events from the past of all the defendants in the case.
