In "Baleines, Mers du Sud et recif de corail" (aka Whales, South Seas and the Coral Reef) a French filmmaker follows a group of nine children as they spend an entire school year aboard the ship "Fleur de Lampaul." French teachers and Head Masters agreed that this voyage would help the children learn and study the effects of ocean life. What it turned out to be was far more than anyone ever imagined. Comparable to "Western Lights", this French documentary shows that students can learn a lot more about life outside the classroom, than in it! "Baleines, Mers du Sud et recif de corail" is a voyage of personal discovery for these nine children, and one they'll never forget.
