DVD has been released.

The DVD has been released on Region 2 in Spain. A lot of people would like to see a Region 1 release in the U.S. and a Region 2 release in the U.K.

Are these the same people that haven't heard of region free players???

I guess US citizens prefer not to buy in european stores but wait untill DVD released locally. So DVD region is not a problem here.

Millions of U.S. citizens have already paid to purchase video machines that play only Region 1 DVDs and Region 1 VHS tapes.
That is why whoever owns the rights to "AT PLAY IN THE FIELDS OF THE LORD" should have enough intelligence and enough decency to issue it on a Region 1 DVD. After all, they have already done that with countless other movies that were previously issued on VHS tape.

And like I always say, it's so unfortunate that Niilo did not continue his career and appear in more movies.
