From a disillusioned new member. What is the point of having something as useful and valuable as a forum if it is not used by RFF members? There must be countless questions about films that need answering, but they are rarely asked. Also, it does help those of us who are genuinely interested in rare and interesting films to have some kind of comment or information regarding the making of it. Take Peter Brooks ‘Lord Of The Flies’ for example: how many of you would rate that as being one the best films ever made, and, how many of you would like to see a re-make, but a sensible and impressive one, and not following the pathetic and insubstantial workings of the American version?
