Does anyone know the title of the movie which seems to be set in the 1920s*, is American and involves a storyline about writer and his friend who would party, while the writer wrote about his experiences with women etc. Eventually he got burnt out but his friend constantly needed more. The friend had a family, but he could never stay still. And even when the writer finally stopped coming, the friend kept going.
