Here at Rarefilmfinder, there is a movie titled "Eugenie" starring Katja Bienert as Eugenie and directed by Jess Franco. There is a listing for this movie at IMDB, BUT there is ALSO a listing for a movie called "Wicked memoirs of Eugenie" starring Marie Liljedahl as Eugenie and directed by Jesus Franco!!! My question is, what is going on here? Did the same director make two different films with similar names? Are Katja Bienert and Marie Liljedahl the same person (they don't have the same DOB listed)? Christopher Lee is a cast member in one listing, but not the other, if that helps.

Eugenie, the movie made in 1970 (with the subtitle the Story of her Journey into Perversion) is the original. If you look at the Wicked Memories of Eugenie imdb site, it states that it is a remake by the original director in the plot keywords. The latter was also made in 1980.

The same director also made Eugenie de Sade (Eugenie Sex Happening) in 1974.
