Since this is for any kind of film with kids, may I suggest wonderful parody that won 4 first place awards at four individual film festivals.

"Seven's Eleven" is a parody of "Ocena's Eleven" with a group of young kids (all about 8-10 years old) who conspire to steal candy from a convenience store.

And at only 15 minutes, it does not let you down.
