Concessions

Frank, a recently divorced narcissist, attempts to win over his estranged son Bobby with a birthday reunion. The two manage to bond while observing the ongoing baseball game until Bobby catches Frank flirting with a young woman he had encountered earlier. Infuriated, Frank chases after Bobby, who demands to be taken back to his mother's home. Though Frank tries to convince Bobby to stay, Bobby confronts his father about the extramarital affair that destroyed their family, stating that Frank only cares about himself. A humbled Frank acquiesces, taking Bobby back to his mother. Before he leaves, however, Frank apologizes to his son and asks him about repairing their relationship. But a conflicted Bobby offers only one sentence: "I don't know, Dad." A lonesome Frank watches as Bobby reunites with his mother before driving away. - IMDb
