This is a documentary on life on the streets especially by teenagers through the eyes of Dewayne Pomeroy, who had a very troubled life, with his mom abandoning him and his father in jail. Because of petty crimes, Dewayne, himself, did a few stints behind bars, and sadly as this documentary was being made, Dewayne committed suicide while in jail. Only four people attended his funeral, including his father and the two guards guarding him. This documentary and Dewayne's life has become the basis for the movie, "American Heart with Edward Furlong playing Dewayne's part. Rating: 8/10 |
