Все соперники президента далеко позади. И вдруг, как гром среди ясного неба – скандал. Президент на несколько минут уединился с девочкой, осматривающей Белый Дом, в своем кабинете. Президентская команда срочно вызывает в Вашингтон специалиста экстра-класса по PR. Тот берет себе в помощь голливудского продюсера. Чтобы отвлечь нацию от президентского "преступления", они начинают разыгрывать масштабный сценарий в котором есть и война с Албанией, и новые модели самолетов и, даже, солдаты, забытые на поле боя. В реализации сценария принимают участие все средства масс-медиа. Вымышленные персонажи становятся народными героями, но действие грозит выйти из под контроля...
